Yes, you read that right. Rockstar is finally releasing a super violent game for a Nintendo console.
Rockstar Games, the world-renowned publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. is proud to announce Manhunt 2 for the PlayStation 2 system, PSP system, and Nintendo's Wii(TM). Manhunt 2 is the debut title from the newly formed Rockstar London studio, which is developing the game in conjunction with series creator Rockstar North. The Wii(TM) version is being developed by Rockstar Toronto. Manhunt 2 will be available this summer.
Can you imagine the possibilities?! Sneaking up behind an enemy and using the Wiimote and Nunchuk to strangle someone? Or jabbing the Wiimote to simulate stabbing a guy with a knife? Or using the the Wiimote in a striking motion as you beat a guy up with a baseball bat? I can go all day thinking about how they can pull off kills using the Wiimote. Wow ... I sound like a psycho.

To date he has given away tens of thousands of dollars in prizes to readers. What a dick. Actually, Hamza is as kind as he is hairy.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
I'm definitely buying it for the Wii, and I'll probably have the same reaction all over again :(
Jack Thompson is going to shit himself.
On the other hand, it will be nice to use the plastic bag on someone without being in any physical danger.
This is not their first game on a Nintendo console.
Smuggler's Run was released on the GC previously.
NEXT-GEN DOESNT BEGIN UNTIL I STRANGLE YOU WITH CHICKEN WIRE!
Hyper detailed entrails FTW.
Now if they can just make it somewhat playable, I'll be set.
Apparently Manhunt 2 (specially in the Wii) is ACTUALLY a murder simulator (ala postal). No offense guys but this is just seems a bit too much for my taste. I'll pass.
But Seriosuly guys, this for the Wii? _not_ _a_ _chance_ thats the console that forced the friend codes down
our throats to stay family friendly remember? Some other M game maybe, but this? no way.
Btw, wheres the godfather for the Wii? wasnt that supposed to come out around february?
