The title pretty much states the expression I had when I read an article about that incident last night.
This is nothing but more proof that videogames should be removed from the planet

After reading two of his responses, it's fairly clear he's just being a douchebag. And he also doesn't know what the words "natural" and "selection" means. Ironically nature didn't select him to be very intelligent.

It's Natural Selection because the father is stupid enough to remove himself from the gene pool by killing his (assumed) only (assumed) son. The son carried his father's genetics that made him more likely to be a drunken video game murderer.

That's not what natural selection means. Nowhere in the definition does it say anything about killing your offspring. Natural Selection has to do with having certain traits that allow you to survive and reproduce more successfully then another organism.

I don't think it's a stupid idea, yes the comment that introduced it wasn't highly intelligent but this can be subjectively called Natural selection depending on how far one takes genetics as a controlling factor in human life.
