Man 'beats' World of Warcraft photo

A Taiwanese man has been named the first ever person to successfully "complete" World of Warcraft, collecting the game's staggering 986 Achievements to effectively do everything there is to do in the hugely successful MMO. This is literally the most amazing news of the day.

'Little Gray" beat the game after killing 390,895 creatures, administering 7,255,538,878 points of damage, completing 5,906 quests (averaging 14 quests a day), raiding 405 dungeons and hugging 11 players. I believe we can safely add another statistic to the numbers -- he has had sex 0 times during this period.

Some nitpicky WoW f*ckheads are trying to downplay Little Gray's accomplishment, claiming he received one event-tied achievement (B.B King) due to a glitch, and did not win it fairly. You know what, though? Who the Hell cares? He's done more than any human being ever reasonably should, so let's not quibble over one little point.

He's a WoW player. He will probably achieve nothing else in life. Let the man have this.

Why are we all under the impression that he doesn't get laid? I spent my Thanksgiving power-leveling all my job classes in Final Fantasy III DS, but I got laid last night.

Jim I'm all for comedy, but you're not exactly the NFL jock that's criticizing the videogame nerd for not getting laid. He plays this one game alot.

If you added up the hours you (or any of us really) spent playing other games in this time period, you'd probably not be so far from his situation.

Yes, but Jim isn't dedicated to a single game that takes literally several hundreds of hours to even hit the level cap, let alone manage to do every possible thing programmed into the game. That takes a level of dedication, stubbornness, money and near-insanity to accomplish. It is something that bears recognition.

Considering how many of the achievements were based on one time events, getting something from a collector's edition, or entering various contents from blizzard. It's impressive but just make me wonder what /played says because it has to measure in years
