Here we have Konami's E3 trailer for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. In it, Raiden does the following things that Raidens do:
Slice a man in half from the other side of a concrete pillar by slicing through the pillar.
Swing a bi-pedal Gecko tank in a circle using a chain.
Cut a military helicopter into a dozen pieces in one pass.
Out of the big name games that I plan on seeing this year, it's Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance which has me the most intrigued. Having enjoyed the evolution of the Metal Gear Solid series over the years, by and large, I find myself at a point where I can't really foresee where the franchise would go and be able to maintain my interest without a dramatic shift in a new direction. Metal Gear Solid 4 was a breathtaking capstone to a landmark series but I can't bring myself to play it through a second time and that, to me, says it's time for something fresh.
