I've got to hand it to Namco Bandai, that's a publish with some balls ... IF it sticks to the November 30 release date for Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom. Known affectionately as "wallet drain month", when all the heavy hitters invade store shelves for Christmas, November is a very dangerous window in which to launch this decidedly un-mainstream game.
Something tells me that this release date will change, but if it doesn't, all I can do is wish the game some much needed luck. I've had my eye on this title for months and my time spent with it at E3 only justified my sense of excitement. The game's charming, endearing and fun to play. Of course, that'll mean jack-shit when it's going up against the biggest AAA titles the industry has to offer.
I am afraid of Majin being thrown to the lions. I hope Namco proves me wrong.
