For those who haven't checked out MAGFest in the past, you've been sorely missing out.  Many here at Destructoid will attest to the fact that it's easily one of the best events of the year with its four days of games, music, and friends.  The emphasis has always been on the music part (MAG stands for music and gaming), with several acts headlining the event over the years including Metroid Metal, The OneUps, and The Minibosses to name a few.

It's always a blast, and for those of you who have never attended, this year may be the year to finally make it out.  The organizers have a special treat for fans to celebrate the event's tenth year, announcing today that Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu will be bringing his entire band, the Earthbound Papas, to hang out and perform at MAGFest X, set to take place at the Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center in National Harbor, MD on January 5-8, 2012.
