@Zero_armada: Yeah, my university schedule's the same here. I'd absolutely love to see Metroid Metal and all the other groups there, but I just don't see any way to make it work. D:

Even if you don't stay for the full thing, you'll have a great time. Also, what do you really expect to learn on the first two days of classes? Just saying that a little extended vacation doesn't hurt anyone. :]

Ok, that's it -- I've lurked on this site enough, it's time to join. I moved to Alexandria last year, had a blast at MAGFest, and the only way it could get better this year is having people to hang out with. Colossus charge-up yell; let's do this.
I've lived in the DC area my entire life, yet somehow I'm just hearing about this for the first time. I feel like I was just born finding this out now.

This is a great event. I just signed up for my passes this week, looking forward to a great festival.
My room arrangements are already set up with some people from the Metroid Metal forums. Actually, it's with the dude in the gray shirt takin' the pictures. Drinking with them and playing Mario Kart DS is a good time.

Never been to a really big Dtoid event, and the flights are affordable. I really hope to go, but I'll have to crash with others and/or carpool. I'll bring cookies.
