Free DLC?! UNHEARD OF!!!
Zipper Interactive announced on the PlayStation Blog that MAG will be receiving its first DLC pack next week, and it's going to be free! The "Trooper Gear Pack" will include flashbang grenades, two new uniforms, and new special edition Light Machine Guns for each PMC.
Zipper will also be throwing a Double XP party on top of the new DLC, which comes out on March 25. The Double XP bonus starts on the day the DLC drops and ends on March 28.
Zipper promises to continue to bring more to MAG in the coming months, and it's pretty awesome that the first pack is going for free. Good show, Zipper!

I'd like to see MAG for the 360, but with less players (128 or 64) and better graphics.

That just wouldn't be MAG. The massive player battles are what it's all about!
Graphics are fine too, not shiney, but gritty, I love em.
Why would anyone want LESS players? It's broken down really nicely so you're only ever really fighting with 64/128 until the end of a domination match where you're all pushed into the middle.
It's fucking brilliant.

I think you should get over the petty brand loyalty and just enjoy video games. You know, like a real gamer.
They've also been gradually re-working some of the maps... though it now seems that a lot of the complaints about SVER's maps being overpowered may not have been entirely justified... Raven is now leading the Shadow War and they've only adjusted SVER's one Sabo map!
Free is awesome; and anyone on the fence about MAG should give it a go. I've been playing it way more than Bad Company 2.
And this some fantastic news. Hopefully we'll see some new maps within the next two months!
