MadWorld soundtrack officially released, available now photo

If you liked the violent, three-colored world of MadWorld, you may want to check out the official soundtrack, coming to us by way of Sumthing Else Music Works. Now availabe on both iTunes and the Something Else store, this album contains twenty songs by PlatinumGames composer Naoto Tanaka, who worked with hiphop and rap artists for the soundtrack.

"There are a total of 20 tracks on the MadWorld soundtrack and they are all original songs that we produced especially for the game," said composer and soundtrack producer Naoto Tanaka. "I would make the backing tracks and then we would hand them off to these talented artists to get their performances. It was a pretty big challenge, especially as it was my first time with this kind of collaboration, but I think luck was on my side and it turned out to be extremely successful."

You can check out samples of the disc here. I like "You Don't Know Me" and "Crazy" best.

*Pendantry alert*

Whilst at Art college I was informed that Black and White aren't colours, but infact tones.

So this a single colour game, with a monochromatic theme.

@ChaosTeaCup
In grade one art class, or there abouts, I was informed that black and white were "shades". My whole life is a lie.

Wikipedia, on the other hand, simply lists both as colours, and is no help at all.

Ain't that Funny is fucking outstanding (first Asian Town level), but I still love Death & Honour as well (the boss music for the sumo dude and the big ass robot).

Honestly, I love the first half of the CD alot more than the second, but I still like Ox's "Ride" a shatload...great cruisin' song. Almost all, if not all (I'm still on the fence on at least one of them) of these artists are quite accomplished and I'll be checking them out further.

FYI guys, there's orange in this game too. 'Shaddup.

Technically they use a faint yellow too but you can't tell because of the supreme contrast made in the art style =X

So Cold is the best track on the album. You're just listening too motherfucking slow.

Awesome soundtrack. I'll get it.

Black white and red are in Madworld obviously, but there's also yellow and need I remind you that the aliens blood was a light blue.
