Madden's week one updates are go photo

One of the coolest things about the internet being hooked up to our new-fangled gaming machines is that sports games can update on the fly. For instance, every week of the football season Madden 2011 will be updated with the correct rosters and injuries for your team. This first week there are over 500 hundred changes. How crazy is that.

You can check them all out over at Madden's website, but I'm pretty sure most of us don't care about 95 percent of the changes. Then again if you are the kind of person who cares enough about all 500 updates you're probably the kind of person who also already knows all 500 changes and have reorganized your 50 fantasy football teams accordingly.

This is the kind of crap that should have been going on for a long time. I used to hate when Roster updates were yearly instead of weekly or even monthly. It made no sense.

This kind of support fully justifies the "online pass" system.

I wouldn't want to be making 500 change updates every week for a game who's online player base was at least 50% pre-owned (read: paid the dev nothing).

Bravo EA, this is how you justify the online pass scheme.

keep it up.

Are u serious sexualchocalate let me just start by saying madden 11 is just as bad as the past 5 or 6 maddens that release on the next gen. But they were doin shit like this before the online pass came out. They jus label every lil bullshit change. Why EA doesn't get shit on just as much as Activision is sad.
