Same thing happened for Madden Football on 3DS at launch. Barebone features and no online play.
The playcalling for the Wii U version is cool, but not getting the physics engine on a system totally capable of having it is lazy - I smell a farmed out port.
This would explain why they aren't including physics.
This would explain why they aren't including physics.
Nintendo should really just stop trying to innovate or whatever, and just make a regular damn console without any stupid gimmicks.
This is the same shit - EA half assing their work and cashing in on new console owners. Why do people support this crap company?
I dont know why people are bashing nintendo, when EA is clearly the lazy one.
Physics? What's that? Oh, that's been around since ps2 and xbox? Oh even since before that, interesting.
Wii U - physics = Next gen?? What?
Will the first Wii U WWE wrestling game still be based on the PS2 version, the way the Wii games were?
There's still something off about those specs tho.
If the wiiu is using power7 I can't see them using a tri-core CPU as power7 is only made with 2-4-6 cores according to the wiki article and a modified CPU would only cost more.
Or Maybe it's 1 core for the OS and the other 3 devoted to processing games?
"That EA rushes a product and leaves features out to make sure they meet a product launch. "
Rushes what though? Even if they are going to announce the Wii U is going to make the 4th quarter of the year, like they say its supposed to, but haven't nailed a date, Madden 13 will already be out for a at least a few months when the U does launch and could have probably just been ported to the Wii U as is to make that launch.
Leaving out probably the biggest feature of the game, on a system striving to show it can be a big boy like everyone else, is a very sloppy move. Period.
Also, I'm not entirely sure how you can equate it to Madden Football for the 3DS when we all know the 3DS can't handle a lot of power we all thought it should -or at least not how developers are developing their games for it.
I think this just doesn't bode well for EA giving a shit about actually releasing a product equally on all platforms. Even from what we've already seen of the Wii U, it's more than capable of outputting far better graphics than the other consoles.
Xbox and Ps2 version had more gameplay options, more teams, more ANYTHING.
So this one isn't something to worry about... maybe Nintendo is still "timid" about final development kits or hardware, forcing EA to play safe.
i just hope i can tap on the centers asshole on the gampad screen to make him hike the ball.
Clearly.
