EA has cleared up some of the misinformation going on with the Madden 10 pre-order demo offer. Originally, people believed that the only way you’d be able to get the demo is if you pre-ordered the game from GameStop.

Turns out everyone will be able to get the demo of Madden 10 before the release regardless if they pre-order the game or not. If you pre-order Madden 10, you’ll get access to the demo on July 23. Otherwise, everyone else will get the demo on July 30.

The GameStop demo will feature the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals in a rematch of their Super Bowl XLIII game. The July 30 demo will be a match between the Dallas Cowboys at the New York Giants set at night and during heavy snow.

Both demos will be available on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and the game will be out on August 14. For more on Madden 10, check out Samit Sarkar’s preview.
