Quantcast

As if women needed more reasons to stick Wiimotes up their pleasure palace, now comes along MadCatz with a 3rd-party Wiimote that could easily pass as a top-seller at your neighborhood adult store. Who are the wizards that came up with this one? Was there any doubt that it DIDN'T look like a dildo?

MadCatz showed this remote off a few months ago and one of their reps (a female) actually made the dildo joke before I could.

I really have no idea what they were thinking. Actually, yeah I do.

I just saw these images on some other website (which I won't name) and they have it listed as a rumor. I'm going to repeat that I saw this product with my own eyes in late September and it's definitely a legit product. Damn it.

why would MadCatz do this? This is why i fucking hate other companies making controllers. They all fucking suck, they think that just because they put some random fucking curves in the controller its going to be better? Microsoft is genius for making their wireless controller proprietary. You don't see shit like this for the 360.

Why would they do this? simple, they gave it curves in order to make it conform more to the shape of a persons hands and thus making it more comforable (not to mentoin give you a better grip to make it even harder for it to slip out of your hands). Back with my old NES i ended up getting a third party controller that also made use of curves and found it much more comfortable to hold on to then the old square ones.

One thing the company either didn't take into account is what that controller looks like... though honestly, i'm not sure there was anyway they could make a practical design and not have it end up looking something like that =/

Well, if it's at least decent quality, that means more controllers to go around. And I know how hard controllers are to get right now, so consumers might need a 3rd party controller to compensate for lack of 1st party controllers. Otherwise, they aren't entirely necessary.

The curves make sense, since it's easier to hold the thing. The regular wiimote is smooth and pretty hard to grip, and the lack of rubber grips only makes it worse. If you think about it, the official wiimote is pretty badly designed.

But, there is such a thing as too many curves.

This is a smart move. It looks comfortable. Also I heard they are $30 instead of $40.
