Mad Catz officially announces Tatsunoko vs. Capcom line photo

We already kind of knew about this, but today Mad Catz makes it official. They've officially announced a relationship with Capcom to produce a line based on the upcoming Wii release Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars.

This gives Mad Catz the North American rights for the Wii, which they will be using to produce controllers and accessories based on the fighting game that makes me love my Wii.

“As we have with our very successful Street Fighter IV accessories, we look forward to bringing fighting games fans on the Wii platform a range of distinctive, high-quality accessories that enhance the game-playing experience of Tatsunoko VS. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars,” said Darren Richardson, Mad Catz CEO.

We have a meeting with Mad Catz next month to check out their new wares, so be on the lookout for our hands-on impressions.

It'll make a great display piece when it breaks in a month.

That isn't the MadCatz stick, it is the Exar one from the original Japanese release of Cross Generation Heroes.
