LucasArts to announce Star Wars-related things at Comic-Con photo

LucasArts has a several secrets it hasn’t shared with the citizens of Earth, but it does plan to give fans and press the dirt soon. In an e-mail sent to San Diego Comic-Con attendees, the studio behind Secret of Monkey Island: SE and a plethora of Star Wars titles teased that numerous Star Wars-related exclusive announcements would be given at its "Star Wars Spectacular keynote."

The e-mail says simply, “there will there will be several world exclusive announcements at the Star Wars Spectacular keynote.”

As citizens of Mumbo-Jumbo-Prime (that’s short, the human tongue can’t pronounce our proper name), we can confirm that this is indeed very hot information. Earthlings will want to be reading Destructoid the very second when LucasArts finally makes this information available to to them.

I don't care what it is so long as it isn't iphone and/or 360 exclusives- it is SW so I will buy it... I would like a BF3 but last I heard it was in limbo

Thats exactly what i want man. I didnt want a KotoR MMO, i wanted a proper sequel. Republic Commando is a really awesome game, love to see more of that too. And Jedi Knight 3! The Force Unleashed is a crap game compared to Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy.

Well, you're getting an MMO. Deal with that. I wanted to see the word Star Wars and "game" in the same sentence without seeing yet another person whine that they didn't get KOTOR 3, but we all don't get what we want.

It really is shaping up to be a good looking game though, that sticks very much to the spirit of KOTOR. Give it a chance.

Also, when people bitch about not having KOTOR 3 it amazes me, since Bioware claims TOR has 12 times the amount of story alone that the KOTOR games had. Twelve fucking times. What more do you want? You just don't want to have to have an internet connection? What is this, 1997?

Hoping for new Republic Commando myself. Also there are rumors floating around that George Lucas will be giving a speech of some sort there as well and some are speculating he'll announce that shooting for the Star Wars TV series has begun.

Jedi Knight 3 would be friggin awesome as well as KoToR 3. Even something like a remake of KoToR and KoToR 2 would be pretty cool. But I hope it's something completely new and not a sequel to anything else.

Yes, please. Imperial Commando is very likely to be announced, as the new book series is coming pretty soon. Battlefront 3 is also not dead. It's just somewhere. Now we'll know where. Oh, and yes, seriously, I want a new flight sim. Maybe even an announcement about the TV series. Or possibly a release date for The Old Republic. Look at this! There's so many possibilities! Don't let me down, LucasArts!

Yes, SW:TOR will be a fantastic game, and one that's very large and everything. But it doesn't look like it'd finish the story of Revan, the Exile and the NPC's from KoTOR 1/2. Or if it does, it'd be 500 years in the past.

Getting a KoTOR 3 that finished those stories would be very nice, in my opinion.

Yeah, I really loved Battlefront and Battlefront II, so I demand an announcement for Battlefront 3 sometime soon. For consoles, too, because it's gotten to the point where I'm better with two analog sticks than I am with a mouse and keyboard.
