LucasArts does NOT back out of of E3 2008: Anybody keeping score? photo

Earlier today we relayed the news that LucasArts, following its decision not to renew membership with the ESA, had backed out of E3 2008 because "too much noise" surrounded the show. Just so you can all update your ESA Drama Score Sheets (available at all good retailers), it now turns out that LucasArts WILL be attending the media and business summit.

"We are definitely attending E3. We're not sure how that could've been misunderstood," answered a phone rep when probed by Next-Gen.

Whether or not LucasArts has anything new at E3 is another story, but we do know for certain that the company will indeed be there.

hey I would care if Lucasarts stopped putting out stupid Star Wars games and made new original stuff, or at least sequels to their SCUMM stuff. Or a sequel to Gladius. I would kill for that.
