Luc Bernard gives Dtoid a gift: Eternity's Child's screens/soundtrack! photo

My support for indie developers is no secret to anyone who has read Destructoid in the past, but there is a definite line between ranting about the people you admire and seeing them join your community to share their work. Destructoid has been fortunate enough to experience just that, as Eternity's Child creator Luc Bernard has deemed us worthy of sharing not only new screens but the official soundtrack as well, which is deliciously reminiscent of The Nightmare Before Christmas.

If that doesn't have all you indie fans reeling yet, here's more: Luc has also shared with us his concept art for an upcoming Wii title working under the name "Manufactured Beauty" and a 3D model of one of the characters. If you find yourself in love with the art but still not so sure who Luc is, check out our interview with him here. Thanks for the love, Luc!

I'd got to his blog and warn him not to suck but I'm pretty sure we don't have to worry about that.

wow. Indi games! and wiiware?! Lets hope his art style can evolve beyond the starry lucid dream thing he has going on. I like it, but too much could get stale.

Ahh cool, I had seen that 3rd image on Kotaku a while back and was wondering if that game was still coming too.

It was called The Rose Princess back then though:

I've been looking forward to Eternity's Child for a while. I can't believe it'll only be 500 Wii points as I'm sure it would've sold for $10 on XBLA.

Hopefully it'll do well and they'll be able to charge 800-1000 points for Luc's next game.

Friend added! It's really cool having an indie developer come in and hang out with the gaming community.

A bloody cello and a bottle of vodka? Interesting combination.

I really dig the orchestral score. It makes me feel like I'm watching a Don Bluth film, which I think fits the art style nicely. It's a nice change from all the bass and guitar riffs you get in a lot of games these days.

Love that music, and can't wait for the game! The Manufactured Beauty pic would make a great wallpaper, very cool.

The other big name Sheep is talking about is "school shooting expert" Jack Thompson.

I cannot wait for this game. The story, the characters, the art... all of it looks fantastic. It's so good to see such a cool game come out at such an affordable price too. Thanks Luc.
