I'm actually excited to think that the Wii has a few games coming this year that I am looking forward to getting my paws on. Of course, the sublimely violent MadWorld hardly bears mentioning as it's an obvious choice, but Another Code R, from the Trace Memory universe, also caught my eye with its memorable art and lovely music.

Wiifanboy found this video over at the official site, which has plenty of other goodies to look at if you don't mind navigating blindly through some Japanese. Considering that Trace Memory made it to the DS in America, I am hoping Another Code R will follow the same path. Also, cel shading makes me salivate. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

@Drack48: The original Trace Memory was at traditional puzzle-based adventure game like Myst or the LucasArts classics. I'd imagine this one will play similarly and support the Wii remote's IR. Think along the lines of Zak & Wiki, but with a focus on a single, drawn out story versus individual missions.

I'm a huge fan of the original, and will look forward to it with bated breath. Thanks for the update Colette! I'd heard this was in the works . . . but I've never seen any material for it.

Nintendo! After not giving us Fatal Frame or Captain Rainbow and some other great Wii and DS games, we had -better- get this one. Trace Memory was absolutely amazing, and this looks even better.

Hop to it!

I want this game, but I want Hotel Dusk on the Wii even more.

OMG I loved the first game. I loved how it was kind o short, and you could beat it in only 10-12 hours. God, you better bring me this game.

Seems to be pretty cool, and the graphical style looks really nice on the Wii!

Looks good, but I hope it has a better localization than the DS installment. It was rather dry, and I heard that the European version had a more engaging localization.

Hotel dusk was pretty rad, so I can only hope that this is equally as rad.

@garison

only 10-12 hours? That's quite long, i'd say it takes atleast 5 hours.

Forgive me for sounding a bit negative, but I don't see what there is to be excited about after watching this trailer.

Perhaps there's some gameplay videos I haven't seen.

Like Jonathan Holmes, a Hotel Dusk for the Wii would be better. Times 215.

As much I am excited for this title (I have Trace Memory and WILL NEVER FUCKING SELL IT) I dont see how the plot oes on this one, everything points out Ashley lost her bag, perhaps something important was on the bag?

Trace Memory for the DS was such a great game. This highly anticipated for me as well.
