Remember Battle Chess? When I was a kid, that game was amazing. Watching the pieces march across the board and squeeze the life out of their opponents felt really epic. Lovechess Salvage has a different sort of spin on that.
Yep, I'm sure you can guess how this goes down. The game appears to be a male vs. female affair, which will no doubt disappoint some. It all seems more than a bit creepy to me. Probably because I'm visualizing the character models being animated and it's just... weird. That said, if you can play a strong game of chess while naked people writhe around you, more power to you.
You can check out some less tasteful screenshots from the game at the link below. Needless to say, it's totally NSFW.

Well.... if you check out the comments over at where the screenshots were they're mostly along the lines of "OH OH OMGOMG IS THERE A RELEASE DATE, CAN'T WAIT TO PLAY THIS!!!oneone"
That guy's going at it hardcore! Man on a mission.
According to the official site, the "pieces" fight each other with martial arts and kung fu, but can also fuck each other and through you "playing" to fucking parts, pieces can reach orgasm.
sold.
Hawt
This game is full of epic win!!!!
I should stop looking into this game so much.
Also male Queen.. er
Also Cocks.
If only I had that Always Sunny in Philadelphia GIF.
Anyway, is it wrong that I'm surprised this isn't a Japanese game?
I own all three. The graphics in Salvage are great compared to Age of Egypt and especially The Greek Era.
Buyer beware, Salvage is full of bugs and glitches. Aside from the graphics I’m extremely disappointed.
I could quietly overlook the bugs and glitches if false advertising wasn’t the case. The site for this game advertises, “Deep Strategic Game Play,” and “LoveChess features an improved chess engine, to challenge both beginning as expert players.” I copied and pasted the quote, that’s right typos included. Age of Egypt does, Greek Era and Salvage does not. The computer offers very poor resistance, and your options are Easy or Hard and they are both very easy to beat. Gets boring very fast.
Age of Egypt you can adjust the difficulty from 1 - 10. It does have a good chess engine. No glitches or bugs. Well worth the money, and if you purchase Age of Egypt you get The Greek Era free because it has the same limitations as Salvage minus the glitches, but still very easy to beat, boring.
Lovechess Salvage still needs work, I’m sorry I paid for it. If you think you might like Salvage get Age of Egypt, and stop there. I emailed the creators and they have not responded. Does anyone else know where I can spread the warning until this is fixed. Since I strongly suspect that they will never fix it, since they didn’t test their product properly.

The game designers did get back to me and they are fixing the problems.
After the fixes are done, I will say it is the best of the series.
I do want to apologize to those who worked so hard on such a unique chess game. I'm actually impressed by their commitment to customer service.
They offered to fix the problems and give a refund. I do want to support the games and their creators so I declined the the refund. I want to thank the guys at Artmunk for their attentiveness.
It truly is a great game.
