Thanks for the LoL coverage! I haven't played in a little while, but I'm kind of disappointed they are nerfing Jax - he wasn't that bad to deal with, and users complain way too much about people being OP (Trynd).
What Riot needs to do is buff all of the useless champions instead of nerfing a few flavor of the week "OPs" based on forum feedback.

What Santiago said. They took away his health, from his AD and AP, and in place gave him a 100% dodge ability and moar Empower. Works out, I'd say. But yeah, buffing the weaker champions would probably fix a lot of issues.

Seems like a clear nerf, as Jax's entire shtick is that he can dodge in 5v5 teamfights - limited dodge? I don't think he'll be tanking as much. Eliminating a stat that only effects a few champions nerfs those champions.
I'd say it's somewhat of a nerf. Now he has to be a lot quicker in taking out his target, but at the same time, also has a reliable way to get some time to do so.
He's definitely a whole lot more of a glass cannon now from what it looks like.
Either case though, dun look like he's a be any trouble for mah Irelia to handle <3

Fresh from my Nordic exploits in Skyrim, I am intrigued by the new character. Maybe I will finally check out League of Legends.
While I have played about 200-300 LoL games, I don't think I'll ever come back. DotA 2 just feels better to me, since it's more 'Warcraft 3-like' than the rest of the MOBAs.

I agree. I put a good amount of time into it with a group of friends, but I always had major issues with it that sorta ruined it for me, but I still had a tiny bit of fun with my friends and all. Then when half of us got the Dota 2 beta I refused to go back. It fixes everything I possibly could have had a problem with and added on top of it, just love the feel of it. Once you get used to it i's so much more fun to me.

I only play once in a blue moon now, my issues stem mostly from the community. They are just brutal.
I wouldn't call changing his random dodge chance into a 100% dodge limited ability much of a "nerf". Now he can just pop that in team fights instead of praying that he dodges enough attacks to survive.
@Veidt: What are the problems with LoL that you think DotA2 fixes? I haven't tried the latter yet, but I'm curious to know what people think (as I used to be a DotA player). You keep alluding to "problems" with LoL without actually naming any.

And DOTA2 doesn't fix the absolute worst thing about DOTA: "Pwning heads". Apparently gamers didn't understand what "pawn" meant and late in DOTA they decided to change the text to "pwn", and... ugh.
