Turbine has set the date for The Lord of the Rings Online: Rise of Isengard's invite-only beta: Wednesday, July 27. North American and European gamers can pre-purchase this third expansion to get preferred access to the beta, which is a little sad, but that's how we roll in 2011.
Because one option isn't enough, there are three choices for pre-purchasers. There's a Base Edition ($29.99), Heroic Edition ($39.99), and the suitably named Legendary Edition ($49.99).
