Ah, Lost. You provided many a sleepless night while I sat up trying to work out the mystery, figure out the secrets of the islands and the numbers, and find hot pixxx of that lady what plays Kate. Newly introduced at Comic-Con, Lost: The Game promises to deliver an experience like unto the television show that inspires it: mystery, dramatic music, and 38 seconds of payoff after 43 minutes of boring interpersonal drama between characters you don't give a crap about. Huzzah!
Not much to say about this trailer except, well -- okay, it kinda looks like Lost, sounds like Lost, and, just like the show, reveals very little as to what the hell's going on. From this we can deduce that there'll be some familiar faces in the game, as well as the double-trouble combo of walking and running through jungle. We'll keep you posted as we learn more about what is sure to be the best TV-property-turned-game since Law & Order: Justice Is Served on the PC. Wait, wait, I'm sorry -- nothing can top that one.
What's with the haters? If you can't understand LOST then the game will probably fly over your shallow heads too. Does it always have to be PEW PEW? Go play Halo some more and let us enjoy our mysteries.
So what do we may know:
- Game will not end with ppl getting rescued and returning to their normal lives normally
- You will shoot a maximum of 50 people
- A lot of Daikatana eenemies will be fought, like scary bats in a cave!
- Graphics look like Pirates of the Caribbean: not bad looking but probably a lot of invisible walls
- 3D adventuring as genre? The conversation system better be good
The trailer looked good to me. I'm a big fan of both adventure games and the show. If they make this anything like Beyond Good & Evil, except with a Lost story line, it will be incredible.
Or it could be like Far Cry Wii. You can never tell with Ubisoft.
I'm predicting right now that the game is going to suck. Not because of the show, which I can't comment on, having never watched it, but simply because it's a game based on a TV show. Also, it doesn't look that interesting.
Im not defending the game but if you dont like the series theres a good chance you wont like the game isnt ther, so whats the point in you dummies whinning about it?
