Lost Planet 2 demo headed to PSN later this month photo

Lost Planet 2, for those who haven't yet been able to try it, expands on the first game, addresses a number of annoyances, and throws immensely fun co-op action into the mix. In other words, you need to play the game when you get the chance.

There's been a demo for Lost Planet 2 up for Xbox 360 players, but it's now PlayStation Network's turn. On September 24, the TGS demo will be available for download, and it actually contains two extra missions beyond just the giant salamander boss fight.

Again, I really didn't enjoy the original Lost Planet, but one play session with the sequel was all I needed. The demo supports online co-op play -- where the game truly shines -- so make sure you have a buddy lined up for the 24th.

This is one of the games I'm looking forward too. I have yet to download the demo on my 360, but will have to try this out on my PS3 when I get some free time.

This demo is definitely a good time, I highly recommend giving a download. Why did it come out on 360 so much sooner? MS pulling some strings like always?

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

the first game was flawed. i enjoyed it enough once i understood the mistaken assumptions the creators were operating under. in the demo for the second, i think they finally understood the assumptions they were operating under were mistaken. that's exactly the king of think you always hope for when you play a game like the first one. bravo capcom. congrats on keeping you guys as my second favorite publisher (nintendo is the first).

I had SOME fun with the original, but it wasn't enough to warrant me completing it.
I'll give the demo a whirl when I can, see if the gameplay has truly improved.
