Lost Planet 2 co-op demo available on PS3 right now photo

A Lost Planet 2 co-op demo is now up on the PlayStation Network. You and four buddies can rampage through three missions set in a jungle setting of E.D.N III. Players will battle various types of Akrid including the giant Category G Akrid, which you can actually go inside of.

I played a demo of Lost Planet 2 while at E3 a few months back with Dale and we both loved it. I enjoyed the first Lost Planet, but got really bored with the game pretty fast. Now that there's co-op in the sequel, I don't see myself losing interest in the game this time around.

What are you doing still reading this? Go download the demo already!

Hate to admit it, bought the first one, enjoyed the over the shoulder alien giant bug bosses. like hamaza says "I enjoyed the first Lost Planet, but got really bored with the game pretty fast" agreed. So now its just collecting dust i need a reason so complete it. So maybe LP2 can be my reason to beat it, so this is def' on my radar.

"I enjoyed the first Lost Planet, but got really bored with the game pretty fast."

It didn't help that the entire game took place in the same-looking tundra over and over. The second one looks like it'll mix things up a bit.

The first game was so cool, the setting was so different and well implemented. To be honest, I don't like too much the fact that the ice is melting and now we are seeing more tropical settings. One of the things I liked about LP was the extreme weather.

I played the demo, really cool, sleek. I just wish you could fight that monster instead of playing the other two levels first.

thinkin about it, i just kinda wished that if kojima wasn't involved in a metal gear game an they changed the style of play that it would be alot like lostplanets style an controls, the raiden game better hold up the metal gear name.

I tried the demo solo, and got aggravated at how long it took me to damage Category G (yeah, I suck).
I'm gonna try the online co-op sometime too.

Its actually pretty fun.
