I'm sure that there are plenty of Xbox 360 owners who would never even give Mistwalker's Lost Odyssey a second thought. Even though it's an Xbox 360 game, it's not really an Xbox 360 game -- you know what I mean? But, for every gamer that is constantly strung from one first-person shooter to the next, there's another that has that JRPG need -- a need that was not filled by Mistwalker's last RPG, Blue Dragon. For those, there's high hopes for Hironobu Sakaguchi's newest epic.
Very little video has come out of Mistwalker for Lost Odyssey, though they're letting out much more than Square Enix is for the Final Fantasy XIII titles (those jerks). This new video of the game's opening introduction doesn't show much game play, but it least it shows that a lot of work has went into the game's world and environment.
I don't know about you, but my interest is definitely piqued. The opening looks amazing, and the music is packed with plenty of Uematsu-isms that bring me back to Final Fantasy VI's brilliant score. I'd still like to see more, but I'm already much more interested than I was for Blue Dragon. Hopefully it won't be a letdown like BD was after we finally get our hands on it.

I really think that's based more in stigma than fact, really. I've played a lot of 360 games this past year, and only two that I can remember were First Person. One of them was BioShock, too.
I dunno about this one. The story seems quite interesting and the intro definitely makes me want it more but from what I've seen from the gameplay it looks pretty standard. I'm much more interested in Last Remnant from what I've seen of the gameplay but the characters are much less appealing.
Agree with Jim entirely. So what is the 360 has an abundance of good shooters? It's not like its lacking in other titles... Except minigame collections and gamecube ports. Hint.

I wish I owned a portable piano and a Nobuo Uematsu. I could make him play epic music for me all day as I go about doing my business.
Speaking of ASH, is that coming to the US?

Oh yes, my brothers and sisters, this game will be real horrorshow.
(on an aside, I really think someone should make a Clockwork Orange game)
But I really don't like the main guys face details. He looks creepy and that 1 bit of hair is doing no justice :p
