Lost in Blue might be found on Wii photo

The Nintendo DS "desert island" title Lost in Blue might be rescued by the Wii. Siliconera points out that Gamefly has added a Wii version of this title to their listings, and given that the last few Gamefly listings have panned out, we're going to bet on this one, too.

The varied minigames are a good fit for the Wii, so a port seems like a natural. Gamefly gives no other details than a release date of August 30th.

If you ask me, I'd say that the boys at Konami were on this a long time ago.

Do you think it would make a suitable Wii title? Would you pick it up?

Was this game any good? I was seconds away from buying it when I finally decided not to. I'd like it if this would come to Wii so I could finally freaking try it without buying it.

Yeah, I echo Clockwork's question. I saw gameplay videos and it didn't look all too exciting, but for all I know it could be a great niche title.

If done right, this could be awesome on Wii.

Hmmm... Still need to put more than 15 minutes into that game... Of course that would mean taking Contra 4 out of the DS...

I wouldn't get it if it's like the DS versions. From everything I heard, the two Lost in Blue DS games were unnecessarily difficult, repetitive, and frustrating. I'd want to see them fix that first.

It really depends on the style of gameplay you like and if you can get yourself into the role of a person struggling to survive on a deserted island. Of course it should be difficult and yes a little repetitive. I'm sure if I was stuck on an Island a lot of my time would be spent trying to find food and exploring, etc. The game makes sense in that frame of mind. But like I said it depends on the kinds of games that you like. I myself love the lost in blue games and the second one improved over the first one. But if this is just a port and doesn't really improve much other than add Wii controls there's no point in buying it if you already have it for the DS. Although of course if you were holding off or are just now becoming interested then maybe the Wii version will be the way to go for you.

I bought Lost In Blue off FleaBay, when the price of it was bloody high. It came, i was like "YUS YUS Y...." and noticed it didn't look right. Careful examination realised that i had a PIRATE copy. First time i knew they did pirate DS games, and i've not played it. It sits on the shelf, mocking me. :(

The general concept would be interesting, however i'd prefer Robinson's Requiem Wii. Imagine the "hack your own leg off due to gangrene" minigame! *sawsawsaw*

I wouldn't mind this. I've heard a few stories about the difficulty and silliness of just trying to keep the two characters alive though...
