This Saturday, Destructoid is teaming up with Giant Robot, Angry Bananas, and Meatbun to present Omori, the new horror game from Omocat!

Omori is a surreal psychological horror RPGmaker game that blew past its Kickstarter goal with over a month left. In the game, you must travel between two worlds, both welcoming, both concealing the same secrets. Meet new (old) people, fight new (old) enemies, explore your own memories, and uncover some hidden truths along the way (although you'll wish you hadn’t.) When the time comes, you can only choose one. Which world is more real?

So if you're in the area, come on down! Giant Robot is located at 2062 Sawtelle Blvd in LA, and the doors open at 7:30. Entry is free, and there will be Omocat merch, an Omori poster raffle, and more! You can find more info on their Facebook page.

Hope to see you there!

Narcosis: Hallucinogenic, ocean floor terror

I said it when I checked out Amnesia developer's SOMA early this year, but we could do with some more games set underwater. It's a scary place. There are goblin sharks down there, damn it. And you don't even have t...more

Inside My Radio is a rad rhythm-platformer

There are things to consider when it comes to playing music in public. Are you in an open space, perhaps a park, with enough distance between you and others so that your tunes don't dance on over into unwilling ears? Are you...more
