Lord of the Rings: Aragorns Quest is new, will debut at E3 photo

Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings universe isn’t exactly a pleasant place outside of The Shire, but that’s not stopping Warner Bros. Interactive from creating a family friendly LOTR game. Yesterday afternoon, Shacknews discovered Lord of the Rings: Aragorn’s Quest -- the first Warner Bros. game with their newly acquired LOTR license -- in a listing of E3 debut titles.

And the fun stops there. Warner Bros. says in the listing that Aragorn’s Quest is “the first Lord of the Rings videogame created specifically for kids and their families."

Guiding the dark-haired wonder throughout Middle-Earth, battling gummy-Orcs and helping the cute little Frodo deposit his plastic ring into a pit of infinite happiness and sugar sounds great. Let’s do this, Warner Bros.

Sounds like it'll just be as shit as the first LOTR game. Not the good Two towers EA game. The Tolkien game that sucked balls.

Two Towers was a great game... I get this feeling that Aragorn's Quest won't be, though.
