How in the world did I miss hearing about this game? Looney Tunes: Duck Amuck hit store shelves September 19, 2007, with little or no love from the gaming community, and I'm sitting here wondering how we let this happen? We're despicable.

Based on the original Warner Bros. Looney Tunes cartoon, "Duck Amuck," players get to draw, poke and annoy Daffy Duck in this comical videogame. Much like how Bugs Bunny erased and drew during the Daffy Duck cartoon, players can do the same in 20 different mini-games.

The whole game is aimed at players annoying Daffy Duck so much, that he blows his top. Players can even join up with another player via Wi-Fi to tackle Daffy together. The game kind of reminded me of a virtual pet game like Nintendogs.
The fact that Warner Bros. Interactive decided to turn this classic cartoon into a videogame is pure genius, but I think they failed a little when it came to the look and gameplay of the mini games. Your goals aren't made clear for each game and the graphics looked pretty bad for some -- think Atari 2600.

All in all though, this game is genius ... pure genius! I'm suggesting people rent it, at least, just to laugh out loud at Daffy Duck's hilarious dialog. Pick it up today, so you can love it and hug it and squeeze it and call it George.

I had no idea this was based on the "Duck Amuck" cartoon.

I have to agree, brilliant!

i played this a few days ago, it was pretty funny, and you had to unlock the games instead of having them all there in the begining. also i think the bad graphics were intentional for some of the games

I played the Acme Arsenal demo recently, and that was sort of fun too. Nothing special, but entertaining. More good WB games, please.

That has to be one of my favorite chapters of all time.
And the idea of playing as the penciler is awsome.

It looks good, but I heard that it's ultimately a little too short. I might pick it up once the price drops.

This was developed by WayForward, who also made Shantae and Sigma Star Saga (and a bunch of crap licensed games), and are also apparently working on Contra 4.

Heard about this at 1up.com. A big bravo to Warner Bros for creating a cool game, based on their cool characters.

It's a pretty cool little game, but not $30 cool. If you find it for $20 somewhere, I'd recommened snatching it up just to see the really unique and fun things wayforward did.

This seems like one of those games that, once I find it cheap in a bargain bin, will well be worth $10-15. Perhaps a future Bargain Bin Laden entry in the making?

I heard about this recently, waiting for the price to drop a bit before I pick it up.

I just got it as part of the TRU B2G1 free sale. Didn't take long to piss off Daffy (which isn't hard because you can play the same game over and over to do it) but I still need to unlock a lot of the minigames. If this had been a launch title it would have been a must buy. I'm glad I technically got it for free. Haven't played enough to give it a full review, but it's entertaining despite some control dodginess (the game where you cut Daffy in half until there's nothing left.)

The Duck Amuck cartoon short film is awesome. This game sounds like fun and I would love to try it.

30 bucks?? Yeah I'll wait until it drops. I've been wanting this game though. Maybe I'll get the girl to pick it up.
