Some of this footage will be a repeat of what was shown at E3, so if it looks vaguely familiar, there you go.

Once again, we're reminded what an absolute piece of eye candy Crisis 2 is. I'm hopeful that Crytek has a better handle on the tech side of development with this sequel, making story and all other major elements able to naturally fall into place.

And if it ends up simply being an engaging, thrill-ride-style game, I can live with that too. Let's hope they strive for bigger things -- and follow through by hitting their goals, of course.

Too bad they showed that part in painstaking detail at E3. Just takes all the mystery out of the trailer.

I liked that section, but the bit where the skyscraper falls and everyone's speeding away, I just thought "why can't I play the average nobody like in Cloverfield?"

Whoa! Having very recently visited the U.S and conducted a few UNI related assignments across the city, viewing Central Station and the old Pan-am building in such meticulous detail is astounding, especially the entrance to said central station beneath that overpass. Seriously impressive visually.

This game has nothing on Rage. idTech 5 > CryEngine 3

Gimmicky Cloverfield-style trailer and generic enemy art design aside, this looks like a rip-roaring, big-budget, set-piece heavy FPS. I'm looking forward to playing it.

I will undoubtedly play this game but I'm hearing that this game is a reboot? If this is true i think that might kill the story for me. I like sci-fi stories so yeah if you all thought it was mediocre ah well, i thought the story was good. It has to come out right when collage is going to start grand.

@ Spaz,

It's a reboot in the sense of gameplay and certain elements in the game. The narrative will still have continuity.

how about a more "Computer hardware friendly" options?...i mean, they failed with the graphic configuration details of CRYSIS ..no matter how low you set em even with a high end PC it would go slow or unstable...

0.59 is clearly a Hunter from Halo.

1.34 is clearly a Hunter from Half-Life 2: Episode 2.

Still, looking a shit-ton better than Crysis 1. Hopefully the gameplay is actually fun this time, rather than fighting bulletproof Koreans.

All the cutting off in the trailer is annoying as fuck. And surprise surprise, the game looks good. Who wouldve thought?

I guess it is directly a homage to Cloverfield. Ironically, a nauseating movie shot in SD, brought to theatres with all its blurry glory. And it even has a bluray version, with pristine blurry quality!

@malfegor I think its the same if not longer cuts than most videogame trailers but they put a kinda movie trailer spin on it with the 'glitches' and the cloverfield like tapefootage effects.

I look forward to the game so I guess they succeeded.

Generic 'i am a robot' Enemies do not do it for me. looks great- but my brain does not care.

There had better be a great demo on PS3 because right now I just don't care at all about this at all.
