I like the idea of Japan being this place where there's these random giant robot figures just standing around here and there.
It's pretty awesome, but it would of been more practical if there was just a feature that would let you resize the mii... :P

I don't know for sure but I'd hazard a guess that it uses the character silhouette on the cube to work out what card it is. Example Kirby's silhouette vs Samus'.
Hence why the blank cube is the default one.

I genuinely don't know if that's how it's done - that just seemed the most logical method based on my, admittedly limited, knowledge of the way AR cards operate.
