Bethesda has posted new media for Prey 2 on its blog, and th--wait a minute. It's only a single screenshot. And, I guess there's a piece of concept art as well. Worst of all, it's enough to warrant me writing this very post you are now likely growing agitated over.
The concept art of what appears to be a futuristic cityscape is more interesting to me. The screenshot has an alien in a spiffy suit, which tells me Prey 2 is going to be quite the departure from Prey 1. The aliens in the first game were too preoccupied with harvesting humans to do things like wear clothes.

Jordan Devore is Destructoid's PC gaming manager and founding ginger editor. He is said to be easy to love but difficult to know. When Samit inquired about his curious bio photo Jordan simply replied:
"bitches love sandcastles" ... yet, there is no sandcastle in that photo. We may never truly understand his ways.

That came to you at the end of the first game and pulled you through the portal is going to be in it all. I needs me some closure, dammit!
Prey was really one of the few mainstream shooters this gen that was both very fast (regular movement being about 75% of sprint speed in most modern shooters), and allowed you to fire and move at the same time without being punished for it. God I miss being able to shoot and move without having to aim down a sight. Without these things, Prey 2 will just not feel like Prey, though I'm sure it'll gain a bigger audience removing them.
The first was a lot of fun, not to mention that it's one of maybe 3 games to feature a native american as the protagonist.
Same universe. Still first-person.
But instead of "same shit, different game", we get "new shit, same game".
