When this, Animal Crossing 3DS and Paper Mario 3DS drop, I'll be interested in picking up a 3DS. That or when the 3DS revision comes out (or different colors?).

Cause Nintendo is very good at changing things up with new games they do. Yeah you've been to the mushroom kingdom a tonne, but what you do there hasn't always been the same. Cash cow franchises just plop out the same shit over and over and minor improvements, or do very frequent new versions in the same format.

Actually, unless you count the Mario Kart/Party/Sport games, we've only been to the Mushroom Kingdom 5 times. Most Mario games take place outside of it.
@Tabijinka - I hope you're not suggesting the bajillion mario games and remakes are all super-unique and innovative, because that's some major LAWLZ right there. Also, this just looks like a port of the first Luigi's Mansion from the fucking gamecube a decade ago. *yawn*
@ Daspooch, not all of them, but a lot. We go to the world a lot, but we have, rpg's, sports games, platformers, racers, puzzle games, etc etc. In the main games series,(basic platformers that is) you see far more changes between games then you do in a lot of other franchises, with 64, sunshine and the galaxy games having lots of variety between them. RPG's you have the paper mario series, and the mario and luigi series, you have the yoshi's island games.
If you read the comment i originally replied to you can get my point, the mario universe gets used a lot, but that doesn't mean everytime, or even anywhere near close to a majority of the time, it gets used in a boring unimaginative cash grab.
Also i don't think this game looks like a port at all. The footage shown so far makes it look more like a typical sequal then we may hope for, though have to see when it comes out whether it will. Even so, over 10 years for a sequal seems pretty much the opposite to what chris was saying.
