I don't disagree. I just think I'm going to play the game before I jump to the conclusion that this game is nothing more than a tits-and-ass-sellout-fest. I don't think Suda's games are usually communicated well though screen caps, promotional art, and the like, so I'm not willing to leap to that judgement yet.

The clam shell thing is just a bit extreme. I mean, I understand it's going for sex appeal, but why even bother having clothing at that point? Since it's a bonus for gamers in an M rated title, why not just take it all off?
Eh this is hardly unexpected, seems odd for them to make these exclusive to the Japanese version though. Surely theirs plenty of people who wanna perv on Juliet in western countries too. lol

Good god! And I thought I had a huge boner for this game before! All these are coming to the states right?
I thought the game was fucking awesome, but the fact that they're banking on these costumes for extra appeal kind of puts me off. I thought it was supposed to be humorously sexy, now it just seems kind of whore-ish.

Hopefully they wont go and censor the EU edition because of those stupid german laws. For example in the Netherlands it would be no big deal if it included full nudity and maybe even a rare uncensored sex scene.

Honestly, It's the James Gunn thing that bothers me more than anything else.
I get that he wants to break through, but in doing so it's with an ultra quirky fanservice game written by a writer hardly anyone likes or cares about?
Either he needs to go full mainstream (Like by trying to direct a big time series entry like MGS or Resident Evil) or stick to his quirkyness.
From the looks of this one he'll only alienate both sides.

Shame. These take it about two steps beyond the joke, like DOAX or when the character from Bullet Witch was in Playboy. I'm still really looking forward to the game but this is a bit tragic and if they make their way out west I can safely say I shall not be bothering with 'em (I'm assuming they'll be DLC; there's a mint to be made here).
I can't wait for Lollipop Chainsaw. Any game by Suda 51 deserves at least a try. I haven't really watched any of the anime that this game is alluding to with the costume, but I have friends who have watched/are watching those joints, and I appreciate this kind of nod. Man, I wish these costume weren't Japan-exclusive.

They are pretty much admitting there is NO GAME in there. They did a slap-dash job aping a brawler/zombie game, just as 'No More Heroes' was trying to ape an open-world action game like GTA 3. The problem is this is even more poorly designed, built, and conceived.
I hope Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment plows itself into the ground bringing this out. They wanted to jump on the Suda51 bandwagon despite his game getting abysmal reviews...so I hope this bankrupts them in the US.
