Just re-watched this the other day -- classic flick.
I love it when proper action games put time into their skins (ie a different haircolor, etc) -- on the second playthrough it feels more like a whole new character, and you can play with a different style to accent that.

Very disappointing to see my favorite developer falling into the scumbag practices of DLC & retailer exclusives... makes me sad about my favorite media and the direction of the industry. This was a definite day one buy for me... but not anymore. :(

Agreed. The amazing entire level homage for Evil Dead in Shadows of the Damned was great -- when Suda is done making games, I'll enjoy the industry as a whole a little less.

I remember a day when people were outraged about pre-order bonuses. Curious how long it'll take for people to say "shut up and take my money" with online passes.
Now I have a new reason to go to Gamestop. (Other than to sexually harass the employee. Joe loves it, people, no worries.)

I wonder why Stirling is against online passes (as I am) yets supports this kind of crap, that should just be in the game as an unlockable.

Generally I'm ok with cosmetic pre-order bonuses - they don't affect gameplay at all.
What I don't like is Mass Effect's exclusive pre-order guns that directly affect gameplay that you have to go to 4 different retailers to get. Or inFamous 2's powers, that also directly affect gameplay. Online passes also kinda sorta have to do with gameplay :D

I hear ya, but this is kinda like a toy you find in a cereal box. If you want a real surprise order it from Amazon, doesn't even matter if it's pre-ordered. the past 2 games i got from amazon had pre-order bonuses. One wasn't even the Amazon pre-order. Exciting.

Well, even though there's no denying that the Evil Dead outfit is the best and the one I'll be getting... I hate pre-order incentives like this. It's just like what Gears of War 3 did.
And, quite possibly, somewhere down the road they're gonna make you pay if you want something that would've been free just because there's no way in hell I or anyone else is buying 2 or 3 copies of the game just for those outfits.

I really dislike exclusive pre-order items -- especially when it involve GameStop. WB would be foolish to not make this DLC available online.

Always find it incredibly confusing that publishers want used games to die yet they still give Gamestop some of the best pre order exclusives...
Ash costume is my personal favorite. That's just slick and a lovely homage to a great series of movies.

but once they throw in fucking weapons or missions, that's when I get pissed.
I didn't pre-order Fallout New Vegas, but my friend did. he got GameStop's bonus shit and I didn't.

I'm sorry, but none of the pre-order stuff, with the light exception of the canteen did much good for Hardcore mode. I mean, it helped for the first half hour sure, but if Hardcore mode kicked your ass, I wouldn't blame it on not getting the pre-order goods.
