As for this game, I'm encouraged to hear about the gameplay hook. Taking some risks by herding zombies together with low powered "cheer moves" only to get them lined up just right for some big, decapitation combos sounds satisfying and fun.
I think this will be playable at PAX as well, you lucky bastards.

I hope this game is just as over the top of No More Heroes was! It's also great to see that Grasshopper Manufacture is moving so fast! they just released one game and have moved on to the next already WHOO!

One of the highlights of the show for me. Even though it wasn't playable and was an alpha build (maybe even pre-alpha, I forget which), it still looked fantastic. Not exactly Guilty Gear levels of depth to the combat but more to it than just mashing one attack button, perfect for the kind of feel they are going for. The humour in the parts we saw was spot-on too. Hollie Bennett is the last person I expected to be interested in a weird game like Lolliepop Chainsaw. She just doesn't seem like the type is all, but she is now I guess.

Unfortunately, I have yet to play any of Suda51s games. This one looks as crazy as the rest of them though so I guess this one is going to be good.

I still don't know if I'm sold. I'm a big NMH and Killer 7 fan, but both Shadow of the Damned and this just look very mainstream in design as opposed to Suda when he's at his most balls out weird. I'm hoping to be proved wrong, but all I'm really seeing here is Buffy the zombie slayer. Can somebody tell me what I'm missing here?
