A mighty Norse warrior, a fierce Greek fighter, a powerful Egyptian sorcerer and a skilled Aztec shaman --what do they all have in common, exactly? Well, besides being a wicked crew of asskickers, they are the four playable races of Cyanide's upcoming action RPG title Loki for PC. Above is the new gameplay video featuring the Norse warrior, which got me thinking that Loki might be a solid entry for Diablo fans who eagerly await the day Diablo 3 makes its way out of the Blizzard cauldron.
I'm a sucker for certain types of settings, and I have to admit the mythological business gets my juices flowing. The game allows you to play solo, within a variety of friend groups, or in PvP. There are hundreds of monsters to fight and a wide selection of weapons to forge. My most anticipated feature about it is the ability to play through key events that actually happened in real life, such as the Siege of Troy. Once a history geek, always a history geek.

This looks hot despite the Norse mythology trappings. The action-RPG to beat is still Hellgate: London
Eh, sort of want.
As far as the Norse Mythology goes, looks cool though obviously its mixed in with lots of Greek stuff too. Too Human is the real next-gen Norse Mythology game that i'm jonesing for.
