I have a mouse quite like that, but I don't use it for MMOs [I don't play them]. I use it for 3D modeling and other applications. I've got tons of macros on it.
I have a Razer Deathadder and it's still a little too short in lenght for my big hands, still hoping for for Razer or other manufacturer to make a larger mouse.
Yeah problem I have had with "gaming" mice in the past is that I don't know who the space the buttons for but it sure as hell isn't me.
It is obviously a response by Logitech to meet the Razer Naga in the market. I have experience with Razer Nagas in the past and I was unhappy with the quality, hopefully the G600 is better in that area.
Looks like Logitech finally has an answer for the Razer Naga. I haven't had any issue with my Naga so I don't see myself picking this up. It does look like it might be a little more comfortable, though.
Does anyone play Muhmorpagas with a Nostromo and a Sensei? I only say that because that sounds like the most logical way to play one.
Razer has pre-orders up for their new Taipa mouse, which is sadly 124 mm / 4.88” (Length. My Deathadder is 5 inch and to date the only mouse that reaches up til 5 inch.
Wonder how responsive those buttons are and if that kind of mouse would be a nice tool for a MOBA like DotA 2 or HoN.
Logitech does typically have good prices for what they cost. And I only use a simple Logitech mouse, but it really is as easy as plug and chug.

My Naga is a must for me when playing TERA. Most mmo's have optional kebinding but TERA demands it (you can play with a controller if that's your thing).
Looking at the screenshot the buttons look bigger and seem to be on a flat surface, Naga buttons are on a convex surface, so it may be more comfortable.

this would not be a mouse for me considering I grip my mouse quite hard between thumb and pinky, I love the rubber on my mouse on that spot. While I could use more buttons I really don't like them there.

my mouse the Sharkoon fireglider black has a lenght of 13cm/5.1 inch so its not the only one at that lenght.
Its an awesome budget mouse btw, still 3600dpi, good build quality, no bs on it, and two sets of spare skates for when they are damaged which has as of 2 years of use not really happened. the fireglider is also wider than the deathadder which makes it more comfortable if you use it with 3 fingers ( forefinger on the left mouse button, middle finger on the middle mouse button (scroll wheel) ring finger on the right mouse button)

Looks nice. I can never get too many buttons on my mice, though I've yet to find anything I like better than the MX518 (called the G400 now) in terms of overall comfort and effectiveness.
I hope it has a normal scroll wheel and not the wonky crap that was on the G500. It was so loose I couldn't really use it for gaming, had them replace it with a G400.

I'm glad there's direct competition to the Razor mice, but damn I hate this style. A mouse like the G9x with 4 thumb buttons would be perfect, but this style is way too much for me. I absolutely prefer Logitech mice, so that's cool.
12 is too many IMO, Id prefer 5-5 slightly larger buttons - and yes I mean for MMOs. But personally I prefer to do most of my movement with the mouse and use my left hand for hotkeys... If youre a big WASD'er I can see the draw for a mouse like this though.
Technically this pizza ordering functionality should be possible and not too difficult to implement, as long as you can place your orders online. With a shell script that opens a telnet client to the HTTP server... that IS an excellent idea, Dale North, I shall try this out when I find the time!

Why would you want to have your spells on your mouse in a weird position when you have a full keyboard?
I'm assuming the first bind people do on a mouse like this is assigning "alt+tab" to one of those buttons.
Sounds like they are trying to compete with the Razer Naga. I was getting ready to buy one anybody got any imput on it or should i wait to try this bad boy out?
lol! complete razer naga ripoff. with the downside that this looks unimaginalbly small. i'm happy with my cyborg mmo7 atleast the 11 extra buttons have a good layout
I'm a big fan of my Razer Naga after i got used to it.
Looking at it's shape, maybe the picture isn't giving it justice - but it looks uncomfortable compared to the naga.

Honestly, to me, it depends on the size of the mouse itself and your hand size.. I have small hands for a guy (proportional though, cause I'm not a big guy, either) and more often then not when I use a mouse with side buttons I can get my thumbs to most of them, cause they're usually too big if they have more then 2 extra buttons.
Also, yeah, what Excel said, this is pretty cheap compared to other mice with the same amount of buttons.. It'll probably be pretty solid too, I haven't personally ever had a bad logitech mouse in my lifetime.
