[Mash Tactics airs Monday through Friday at 4p.m. Pacific on Dtoid.TV. Watch Rick 'King Foom' Olson play a variety of games, each day with its own theme. With a heavy focus on community and viewer interaction, you can be as much a part of the show as anything else.]

This evening on Mash Tactics, we'll once again be showing off the best independent games out there for your viewing pleasure. The focus this week will be on a game that feels like a nostalgic nod to past greats such as The Secret of Mana, Final Fantasy Adventure, and others all while standing out with its own charm, personality, and depth. That game is Two Brothers

Also, as a special treat tonight, we'll be joined by a couple amazing members of the development team behind this wonderful adventure, Andrew and Brian Allanson of Ackk Studios. So be sure to come by and join in on the conversation while we sit down and showcase the first few hours of the game. Whether you've been curious about this title, or even if you've never heard of it, if you like action RPGs, then you owe it to yourself to check this out for yourself tonight over at Dtoid.TV!

QotD: What are some of your favorite handheld games?

Gone Home coming to Wii U

Gone Home. It spawned the worst debate since, "Is it art?" the dreaded, "Is it a game?" Thankfully it lead to more thoughtful writing, too, outside of that human centipede.  It was previously announced for undisclosed co...more

Shovel Knight looks great in 16-bit, Aegis Defenders just looks great

Oh my goooddd. How did I miss this until now? It's like a Nausicaa game. Thank you sir Shovel Knight for making a cross over appearance (above) in Aegis Defenders, which is how it came to my attention.  The Kickstarter already passed its initial funding goal and its PS4 stretch goal. Local co-op and a Wii U version are up next. Here's hoping. This looks amazing. more
