Live show: Shadow of Rome

Jul 09 // Rick KingFoom Olson    @KingFoom

Day two of Gladiator Week on Mash Tactics

[Mash Tactics airs Monday through Friday at 4p.m. Pacific on Dtoid.TV. Watch King Foom play a variety of games, each day with its own theme. With a heavy focus on community and viewer interaction, you can be as much a part of the show as anything else.]

All this week on Mash Tactics, we'll be diving into the brutal and bloody world of gladiators. I've been on a kick ever since playing the recently released Spartacus Legends, and thought that I would share my current addiction with the live crowd. Plus, who doesn't love a good old fashioned dose of gladiatorial violence now and again, right?

Tonight's plan is to jump back into what I think, is an underrated gem, Shadow of Rome. We started playing this on the live show yesterday, and while the stealth sections are just as miserable and frustrating as I remember, the rest of the game has held up surprisingly well. If you missed out on this game back in the day, come check it out for yourself tonight over at Dtoid.TV!

QotD: What is the most violent game that you've ever played?
