Sturmwind is a german shmup in the vein of R-type and Gradius, the screenshots ive seen the game looks to be very nice especially for a DC game and even more suprising as the original iteration of it was developed as a Atari Jaguar game with the visuals of a simlar standard.

well no shit ps2 was better, but Dreamcast had an incredible charm to it and was waaaay ahead of its time when it came to the online stuff. Most of its games are dated but it doesnt mean it wasnt a terrific system.
@Arrrdawg: you seem to forget that people have diferent tastes, saying that someone should hang themselfs because they like the dreamcast is the most idiotic idea I have ever heard, please note that the dreamcast had a whole list of games that are still great by todays standards, not graphicaly, because only idiots judge a game based on there graphics.

I have both PS2 and Dreamcast,and the Dreamcast gets far more use.
Even after owning both the HD consoles, I have yet to find a better game than Shenmue,Though Uncharted 2 is close : )
They said something about a charity near the end of the stream where Sega would sell people games for about $7 and give that money to the effort in Japan. They also said they would post a link to the website, but I never saw it. Could anyone post the link or at least tell me if the offer is still active?

No, it's done by an indie studio. There's still about 5 games a year come out for the DC, mostly bullet hell shooters.
Rush Rally Racing was damn fun though.
