Is it $60 good or more like $30-40 good? I ended up getting Red Faction Armageddon for $20 (Kmart $39.99 - $20 game coupon) and at the price it's a great game. Bioshock is a single player only experience I felt was easy worth $60.
I wish publishers would explore tiered pricing. Not all games need to come put of the gate at $60.
Anyway Alice looks really interesting - the art style is right up my ally. But some of the reviews have made trepidatious. A demo would've been nice.

The game is really long if that's what you're looking for. Easily 15 hours.
That's actually what annoys a lot of people. Either you like the game a lot and youKre glad it's long or you think it's okay and wish that itaks shorter. If you're in it for the art, then you will probably like it.
I love the game. It CAN get long and repetitive, which some people don't mind but some can't stand. I don't mind it, thus I LOVE Alice. Great game. And new copies come with the original free! That's almost worth it all on its own!
This game is absolute magic. As mentioned, some areas are very lengthy, but the game is pure magic. Playing on PC and putting a hurt on my FPS (frame rate) with PhysX on High.
I just finished the original Alice that came with the game. The combat and platforming felt like standard N64 gameplay, but the aesthetics are to die for! It appears that they even gave it an HD facelift as the textures look so vivid. Overall, an enjoyable playthrough. Can't wait to break out the sequel next.
Electronic Arts tossed over a look at the launch-day downloadable content for Alice: Madness Returns. As is becoming increasingly commonplace, the content consists of alternate costumes for Alice to muck about Wonderland in. ...
