[Check out Weekend Escape every Saturday over on Destructoid's Twitch.tv channel at 12pm Pacific with Destructoid Contributors Brett Zeidler and Caitlin Cooke  as they play through entire games with a focus on co-op. It’s a safe bet that Cait is probably going to get mad at Brett for everything at some point.]

Happy Saturday everyone! Caitlin Cooke and I are excited to present our new show Weekend Escape. Basically, it'll just be us interacting with the chat while we play through co-op games every week until we complete them. Usually we will be following Conrad, Jordan, and Katrina every Saturday, but GDC happened this week so they took today off.

We're getting things started today with Portal 2's brilliant co-op mode. Cait and I have both already played separately through the co-op when the game first launched, but it has been quite awhile. Should be interesting to see how well we can work together. So, come on over to Destructoid's Twitch.tv channel at 12pm Pacific, hang out, have a chat with us, and escape into the Enrichment Center of Aperture Laboratories!

Behold, Portal 2's freakish Frankenturret brought to life

The Frankenturret, as they're officially called, are the Portal 2 turrets merged with a weighted storage cube. Wheatley had fun creating them in the game, and I'm sure artist corroder666 had fun making the Frakenturret in re...more
