Happy Halloween from Mash Tactics! Tonight we're going to get our spooky on, as I turn down the lights, possibly ignore chat a bit, and try to get creeped out as I play Fatal Frame III.
While I've sadly missed out on the Fatal Frame franchise until now, I've been told that they are very well done, and that the third entry does a good enough job at explaining the first two games and I won't feel too lost by jumping in here.
You may have noticed that bit about me ignoring chat a bit, and have some concerns, allow me to explain. I haven't been legitimately freaked out by a horror game in forever, and would love if this game made me at least jump a bit. So, in an attempt to get more immersed, I'll be cranking the sound up, turning the lights down, and doing whatever I can to enhance the experience. If that includes not constantly eyeballing chat for an evening, so be it.
However, even if I'm not chatting that much, fret not, as you'll have me on camera all night. So if by some chance I do get spooked, and fly off of my chair, you'll be able to see it all go down live as it happens. Will I get scared and scream like a little girl? I can only hope so. Come see for yourself tonight at Dtoid.TV!
