Day three of Gladiator Week on Mash Tactics

[Mash Tactics airs Monday through Friday at 4p.m. Pacific on Dtoid.TV. Watch King Foom play a variety of games, each day with its own theme. With a heavy focus on community and viewer interaction, you can be as much a part of the show as anything else.]

Welcome to day three of Gladiator Week on Mash Tactics. Tonight's feature is one of my favorite guilty pleasures, Colosseum: Road to Freedom. While this game shouldn't be as fun as it is with its repetitive, button-mashing combat and less than stellar graphics, something keeps me coming back. Could it be the hundreds of ways to customize your gladiator? Or maybe it's the hook of building up your stable of fighters, then sending them out to brutally decimate every foe the arena tries to throw at you. All I know, is that I find myself returning to the game every couple of years or so, for whatever reason. Come check it out for yourself tonight at Dtoid.TV

QotD: In my personal opinion, zombies are beyond played out. What would you like to see as the next trend in gaming? Ninjas? Dinosaurs? Cavemen? Gladiators? Let me know what you think in the comments below!
