Ok, ok, all jokes about David Cage, emotions, and all that other silly business aside, Beyond: Two Souls is still hands-down one of my most anticipated titles of the year, and I'm dying to dig into the first few hours with the live crowd this evening on Mash Tactics. I mean, really, it's got everybody's lord and savior Willem friggin Dafoe in it -- what could possibly go wrong?
Call it an interactive movie, call it whatever you want, but I've been a fan of these types of games ever since I first got my hands on Dragon's Lair oh so many years ago, and am extremely excited for Cage's latest take on this seemingly love-it-or-hate-it, interactive-whatever-it-is genre. Also, to be quite honest, after a couple weeks of playing damn near nothing but Grand Theft Auto V, I'm more than ready for a relaxed, slower-paced adventure.
