But, the gameplay is solid and after playing Caspian Border, is unbelievably fun. It's like a whole different game. The problem with Metro is for one, it's Rush and I hate Rush and 2, it is only fixated on infantry combat. Battlefield is not, will not and should not be only infantry combat focused.
It's about the whole package. Infantry combat, large team gameplay, conquest, vehicle combat and transportation gameplay and large open maps. That is Battlefield and that is exactly what Caspian Border is.
And EA, Dice or whoever decided to bring out Metro instead, is a complete moron.
Sure, have Metro there. But for gods sake show off CB for all its glory and people will love it. Even graphically it shows off what the PC version can do much better. I could play on that map alone all day and night.
Judging all of BF3 off of Metro is like judging Halo CE off of just The Library level, Ocarnia of Time from the Water Temple or Deus Ex: HR from the Boss Fights.
In terms of Battlelog, they need to integrate into an in game menu. No ifs or buts, that needs to be done.
Haha exactly. I often find myself team killing medics for they're med kits. Don't worry I revive them. Sometimes
And I haven't played BBC2 in a while, but does it seem like the characters have lost some weight, or is it just me? I felt a lot faster and lighter running around in there than I remember.
It just felt too much like BC2 (gritty graphics and gritty controls). I could easily be convinced that what I saw was nothing more than a map 7 weapons pack for BC2.
Then once you factor in the massive number of bugs, glitches, and server issues (yes I know it's a beta, but they will NOT have all that stuff hammered out in less than 30 days) it's a very easy decision to pass on it for now.
