Live show: Backlog gets curiouser with more Alice

0

[Backlog is the ongoing quest to rid Conrad Zimmerman's collection of unfinished games. As voted on by the Destructoid community, Conrad plays each game from start to finish live on Destructoid's Twitch.tv channel every weeknight at 8pm Pacific]

We've been dropped into the pit of the Centipede, who seems not at all pleased to see Alice. It's interesting, in a way. The exposition for the classic arcade game Centipede is that you're a little elfish dude with a magic wand, fighting the centipede and other bugs in a magical mushroom forest. And here we have little Alice, fresh from acquiring an ice wand, in a mushroom forest and beset upon by a huge centipede. It's probably nothing, but I find it an amusing parallel.

For more amusing observations, come and join me right now for Backlog. I'll be spending the next couple of hours playing American McGee's Alice and hanging out with the goons in our live chat over on Destructoid's Twtich.tv channel!
