NSFW alert: Parts of the above video may Not be Safe for Work.

This trip to Japan for the Tokyo Game Show wasn't my first, and I certainly hope it won't be my last, but I'm still and will probably always be amazed at how strange this place is. It seems like the stranger things are, the more they seem Japanese. Are they shooting for that?

In the rest of the world, advertising anti-virus software usually involves claims of success and security and brand strength. In Japan, apparently, it involves two-story tall inflatable action heroes and paid actors to act like virus villans in a mock jail cell. Even wierder: I seriously came across four dogs sitting in a row with sunglasses on in Harajuku this afternoon. And don't even get me started on Japanese television. Only here in Japan can you see televised bare breast soda can crushing.

Actually, you can see bare breast soda can crushing here too. I saw it a few years ago. I can no longer have erections. Boobies are not a source of joy for me anymore. Instead, they are one of terror

But tbh, do those "claims of success and security and brand strength." ever actually work, most people just ignore. Like all the insurance adverts that are exactly the same. now this. this would grab some attention.

But still I'd never use norton cause its shite.

I remember seeing a lady crushing a beer can with her ridiculously large breasts on Manswers a little while back. When you start getting in to it, Japan may be silly but we're right up there too on some levels. I think Spike has now copied the Japanese TV show where the contestants have to fit in various sized holes in an on coming wall. I believe it's aptly named Hole in the Wall or something to the effect.

I was there at TGS this year too, kinda dull this time, but a good reminder that the TV is a great fallback for wacky entertainment.
