I am super damned impressed by this. What made them go for Max Payne? They certainly turned a weakness into a stylish strength with the underwater effects. Great stuff.

Nah. I thought the movie was really good as far as game movies. It and Silent Hill were the only above "eh" or "bad" video game movies I've seen.
Sure, some smaller details were changed around, but I felt it was for the sake of making the movie interesting for both the movie and game critics. Acting was great, atmosphere was there, there wasn't too much action (it probably actually could've used more) all it needed was a ton of monologues.

My biggest gripe with the movie was Marky Mark & Meg Griffin in the title roles. It was a kick in the teeth to fans that James McAffrey was relegated to a cameo, because he's not a bankable name.
